The Unexpected Winter Road Trip is a project that portrays my awes and deceptions during my first trip to mainland Europe and my first winter. It poses the question of how virtual reality biases a person’s experience of a place causing confrontation between the expectation and reality, and how unknown places are enjoyed in a different way depending on the achieving or not of those expectations.
